Privacy Policy for SpyderSocial.com

Last Updated: June 29, 2026

1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy

SpyderSocial LLC ("SpyderSocial," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to ensuring the privacy, anonymity, and security of your information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, store, process, and protect your personal information, including data accessed via third-party Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)—specifically including the TikTok Developer API—and data utilized in artificial intelligence or machine learning (AI/ML) models.

2. Application

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information and platform data submitted by you or retrieved on your behalf on SpyderSocial.com (the “Website”), via any official SpyderSocial applications or integrations (the “App”), or through the use of the SpyderSocial API (the “API”).

3. Consent and Platform Terms Alignment

By creating a SpyderSocial account, accessing the Services, or authenticating your third-party social media channels (such as TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn, or Google) through our platform, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, storage, and processing of your information as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Your use of third-party features within SpyderSocial is strictly conditional upon your compliance with those respective platforms' policies. When using our TikTok integration tools, you expressly acknowledge that you are bound by the TikTok Terms of Service, TikTok Developer Guidelines, and TikTok Business Products (Data) Terms.

4. Information We Collect

To provide our social media analytics, management, and optimization services, we collect both information you provide directly and information automatically retrieved from connected platforms.

A. Information You Provide Directly

Account Information: Name, email address, physical address, telephone number, corporate affiliation, and billing details.

Profile Attributes: Age, gender, and date of birth (collected where necessary to ensure age eligibility requirements for restricted platform features).

B. Third-Party Platform Data (Connected Accounts)

When you expressly authorize SpyderSocial to connect to your third-party social media accounts via their official secure login interfaces (OAuth), we ingest specific data categories permitted by the platform's API scopes and your explicit permissions:

TikTok Developer Data & Event Data: If you authenticate a TikTok account, we retrieve profile information, channel analytics, video performance metrics (such as views, likes, comments, shares, and engagement rates), follower demographics (aggregated data), and technical HTTP header data (such as user-agent, IP-derived regional identifiers, and device characteristics) linked to actions taken by users interacting with your content.

Other Platforms: Data from Meta, LinkedIn, or Google Graph APIs as authorized by you to identify contacts or map multi-channel performance.

C. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We utilize session and persistent cookies, web beacons, and pixels to operate our services. These tools maintain your secure login state, help us analyze user interactions, monitor performance metrics, and deliver platform security. You may configure your browser to decline cookies, though certain aspects of our platform may become inaccessible.

D. Technical Log Data

We automatically collect server log data when you interact with SpyderSocial, even if you are not logged into an account. This includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, specific platform features accessed, location indicators, mobile carrier details, device specifications, and search queries.

5. Use of Information and Platform Restrictive Covenants

We process your data strictly to deliver, monitor, and optimize the core functionality of the SpyderSocial platform, communicate essential service updates, and maintain infrastructure security.

In accordance with our developer partnerships, we enforce the following strict compliance boundaries:

Respect for Intellectual Property & Copyrights: SpyderSocial will never modify, obscure, or remove a content creator's original copyright protection mechanisms, including official TikTok watermarks, branding elements, or attribution badges, without the explicit, verifiable consent of the content owner.

User Awareness & Transparency: Users maintain absolute control over what is published from their connected accounts. The platform displays a clear, interactive visual preview of any content materials prior to distribution, ensures all preset texts, titles, or hashtags remain completely editable by the user, and requires explicit user consent before initiating an API transmission or upload.

Commercial Content Disclosure: In compliance with global advertising rules and TikTok API mandates, our publishing interfaces provide native toggles enabling users to explicitly declare if their content contains commercial promotions, branded content, or self-promotions. These settings dynamically govern privacy permissions to ensure branded content visibility complies with platform-enforced public status.

No Impersonation: SpyderSocial functions transparently as an independent platform management tool. We will never misguide users or the public into believing that our software is natively built by, directly owned by, or part of TikTok or any other third-party platform.

6. API Platform Compliance & AI/ML Policies

SpyderSocial enforces data segregation across its technical architecture to guarantee compliance with platform-specific developers’ terms.

TikTok Data Separation: All Developer Data and Event Data pulled via the TikTok API is treated as confidential. Individual-level data is accessed solely to generate insights on your private dashboard. No raw or derived individual user data sourced from TikTok is ever shared with third parties, utilized to build user profiles off-platform, or used to track individuals across unassociated apps.

Google Workspace API Compliance: For services utilizing Google Workspace APIs, we strictly adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Raw or derived data will never be transferred to third parties or utilized for advertising.

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) Training: We may use fully anonymized, aggregated, and de-identified operational metrics to train our proprietary AI/ML optimization models. However, we do not use raw or derived personal user data, nor any individual data pulled from third-party APIs (including TikTok, Google Workspace, Meta, or LinkedIn), to train AI/ML models without your separate, explicit, and opt-in consent.

7. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or API-derived platform data. We will only disclose your information to third parties under the following narrow conditions:

Authorized Third-Party Service Providers: To trusted cloud infrastructure providers or IT sub-contractors ("fourth parties") who perform core operational tasks on our behalf. These parties are contractually bound to maintain strict confidentiality and provide equivalent data security guarantees.

Legal Obligations: When required by enforceable subpoenas, court orders, or applicable regulatory bodies to protect our legal rights, detect fraud, or ensure platform safety.

8. Storage, Security, and Regional Data Isolation

SpyderSocial maintains robust technical and administrative controls to protect sensitive personal and platform data.

Data Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS) and at rest using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256).

Access Controls: We employ role-based access controls (RBAC) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) to restrict data access to authorized personnel only. Continuous system monitoring is conducted to detect potential vulnerabilities or malicious traffic.

Regional & Geolocation Restrictive Routing: In strict compliance with global security regulations and TikTok U.S. Data Security (USDS) frameworks, all detailed, individual-level user data originating from restricted geographic regions is isolated. Our cloud hosting environments and infrastructure networks are structured to prevent the routing, transmission, processing, or storage of sensitive regional user data through or within legally restricted jurisdictions.

9. Data Retention, Portability, and Complete Deletion

Your data belongs to you. We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by legal mandates.

Account Portability: You can easily request an export of your shared profile attributes and platform data directly through your Profile Settings dashboard at any time.

Account Deactivation: Deactivating your account removes your profile, username, and public-facing content from active view. Your account can be reactivated within a grace period if requested.

Permanent Data Deletion & Revocation: You may request permanent deletion of your account and all associated database records by emailing our data compliance officer. Upon receipt of a formal deletion request, all linked personal identifiers, IP logs, and historical API data are permanently purged from our primary active servers.

Third-Party API Access Revocation: You maintain the right to revoke SpyderSocial’s access to your social accounts at any second. This can be executed directly within the SpyderSocial dashboard, or natively via your third-party account privacy controls (e.g., by navigating to your TikTok account settings under "Security and Login > Manage App Access" and removing SpyderSocial’s permissions). Once access is revoked, our systems immediately cease all data collection hooks for that channel.

10. Amendments and Updates

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time to align with shifting regulatory standards or updated developer platform requirements. When updates occur, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised. Your continued use of SpyderSocial following an amendment indicates your formal acceptance of the updated privacy terms.
