When you expressly authorize SpyderSocial to connect to your third-party social media accounts via their official secure login interfaces (OAuth), we ingest specific data categories permitted by the platform's API scopes and your explicit permissions:
TikTok Developer Data & Event Data: If you authenticate a TikTok account, we retrieve profile information, channel analytics, video performance metrics (such as views, likes, comments, shares, and engagement rates), follower demographics (aggregated data), and technical HTTP header data (such as user-agent, IP-derived regional identifiers, and device characteristics) linked to actions taken by users interacting with your content.
Other Platforms: Data from Meta, LinkedIn, or Google Graph APIs as authorized by you to identify contacts or map multi-channel performance.

These tools maintain your secure login state, help us analyze user interactions, monitor performance metrics, and deliver platform security. The platform displays a clear, interactive visual preview of any content materials prior to distribution, ensures all preset texts, titles, or hashtags remain completely editable by the user, and requires explicit user consent before initiating an API transmission or upload.
Commercial Content Disclosure: In compliance with global advertising rules and TikTok API mandates, our publishing interfaces provide native toggles enabling users to explicitly declare if their content contains commercial promotions, branded content, or self-promotions. These settings dynamically govern privacy permissions to ensure branded content visibility complies with platform-enforced public status.
No Impersonation: SpyderSocial functions transparently as an independent platform management tool. We will never misguide users or the public into believing that our software is natively built by, directly owned by, or part of TikTok or any other third-party platform.
SpyderSocial enforces data segregation across its technical architecture to guarantee compliance with platform-specific developers’ terms.
TikTok Data Separation: All Developer Data and Event Data pulled via the TikTok API is treated as confidential. Individual-level data is accessed solely to generate insights on your private dashboard. No raw or derived individual user data sourced from TikTok is ever shared with third parties, utilized to build user profiles off-platform, or used to track individuals across unassociated apps.
Google Workspace API Compliance: For services utilizing Google Workspace APIs, we strictly adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Raw or derived data will never be transferred to third parties or utilized for advertising.
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) Training: We may use fully anonymized, aggregated, and de-identified operational metrics to train our proprietary AI/ML optimization models. Permanent Data Deletion & Revocation: You may request permanent deletion of your account and all associated database records by emailing our data compliance officer. Upon receipt of a formal deletion request, all linked personal identifiers, IP logs, and historical API data are permanently purged from our primary active servers.
Third-Party API Access Revocation: You maintain the right to revoke SpyderSocial’s access to your social accounts at any second. This can be executed directly within the SpyderSocial dashboard, or natively via your third-party account privacy controls (e.g., by navigating to your TikTok account settings under "Security and Login > Manage App Access" and removing SpyderSocial’s permissions). Once access is revoked, our systems immediately cease all data collection hooks for that channel.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time to align with shifting regulatory standards or updated developer platform requirements. When updates occur, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised.
